Avalara Collaborates with Acumatica, New Solution Partner

Recently, Avalara announced that Acumatica, a provider of cloud ERP and financial software, became Avalara’s certified solution partner.

For sales tax management directly in their own applications, Avalara’s solution partners are software publishers that combine Avalara’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) offering.

Avalara has entered into a number of relationships across the financial, technology and business service industries to develop excellent Partner programs. These partnerships concentrate on making sure that access to the people, training and tools needed to grow and succeed are provided.

Avalara’s certified solution partners get enhanced capabilities and revenue opportunities to be the leading financial and ecommerce application providers.

Helping companies to calculate, collect, report and remit sales tax in real time, this new program for OEM partners facilitates the development and delivery of fully integrated, innovative solutions.

Cloud providers like Acumatica and Avalara have partnered to provide customers best-in-breed solutions offered via the Web as customers shift from client-server software to cloud-based services. While offering a solution that can be accessed online, on location or on the go, these solutions appeal to customers who want to save money on software maintenance.

“We integrated Avatax so customers can retrieve up-to-date sales tax calculations from inside Acumatica’s cloud ERP offering,” said Ali Jani, VP of Product Management at Acumatica. “The cloud has allowed Acumatica to become a hub to initiate and report on financial transactions spanning organizations and geographies.”

Recently, the company announced its geo-location sales tax engine now combines into the online financial management program from Intuit (News - Alert) Inc., makers of the best-selling QuickBooks software. Avalara now offers instant integration with QuickBooks Online, by partnering with MuleSoft, the most widely used integration platform for connecting SaaS and enterprise applications in the cloud and on-premise.

By accurately calculating taxes based on the precise location of a sale, small businesses can reduce their audit risk using Avalara's technology.
