Visa Resolves Issues with Nigerian Corporate Spending

Visa IntelliLink Spend Management takes much of the guesswork out of corporate spending. From the program, finance and travel management staffs to the employees cardholder, the people behind the launch of this product claim that cooperate spending has just gotten much easier to manage.

It seems that one of the key benefits for employee cardholders is that they can save some serious time by having a more streamlined approach to recording and verifying purchases. And since the IntelliLink Spend Management solution is available through web services, there is no need for customers to install hardware or software onto their devices to use these services or to be limited in the devices they use.

According to reports, this is an “integrated solution” that offered is more than “35 financial institutions.” So not only the corporations, but various types of organizations can find these services to be very helpful.

David Levy (News - Alert) of Visa said, “"With the ongoing changes in financial reporting and the current cash-less Lagos project, Nigerian companies are increasingly adopting global standards for reporting, accounting and expense management. The addition of Visa IntelliLink Spend Management to our core commercial card payment offerings means that corporate enterprises and public sector institutions can benefit from flexible solutions that improve reporting and control."

Of course the overall goal of this type of finance management is to reduce corporate costs and to generate spending data that company financiers can use to identify and avoid poor spending practices.
