Slimpay Uses Axway Financial Exchange Platform to Launch a New Service Offering

Axway has equipped payment services provider SlimPay with its Axway Financial Exchange (FEX) platform to launch a new service offering.

This is expected to prepare for Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) requirements compliance and help businesses and online merchants prepare for SEPA implementation support.

The new regulatory environment will help the financial services industry to grow.

SlimPay is a payment institution accredited by the Banque de France and is striving to help its customers overcome the strategic and technological challenges of SEPA implementation.  SlimPay’s SaaS (News - Alert) solution, based on Axway FEX, will aggregate payment orders in a way that is suitable for all formats and protocols.

The service helps businesses in validation and helps them overcome problems associated with complex fraud management systems.

“We operate mission critical services for our customers and we are required to guarantee 24/7 availability. The Axway FEX platform enables us to guarantee this availability,” said Jean-Louis Hoenen, chief technology officer, SlimPay. “We needed a reliable and high-performance platform that we could quickly build our services and Axway had the best offer available.”

Axway FEX is capable of processing payments in different European formats and is empowered with implementation and reporting tools. It helps businesses manage, consolidate and secure critical online credit transfers and direct debit transactions according to SEPA processing time- frames and standards.

The cost effective solution offers visibility, security and control over transaction flows.

A flow exchange platform Axway Financial Exchange optimizes community management, multi-enterprise collaboration, and analytics and process management. SlimPay leverages Axway Financial Exchange to offer expertise to customers in scheduling migration to SEPA. Axway Financial Exchange can manage high volumes of transactions besides being equipped to cater to future needs and further increase in financial flows.

“We are highly experienced in infrastructure and security for financial services because we have created or helped create many industry protocols. SlimPay is marketing an innovative, SEPA-compliant solution and we are delighted to be a part of it,” said Mathias Bonnard, director, product and solutions marketing, Axway.

Recently, Axway announced its Managed Service Provider (MSP) partner program on recognizing the increased need for organizations to move, secure, control access to and harness the value of information in efficient ways. The program enables MSPs to complement, enhance and extend their current shared services offerings with Axway’s secure collaboration, encryption, and file transfer solutions.
