In an effort to streamline company’s several key business functions, Puerto Rico-based IT staffing and project solutions provider Metro IT Resources has joined hands with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert))-based time and expense software provider Replicon to deploy a web-based software suite.

According to a press release, Replicon provided both editions of its Web TimeSheet software- Project & Billing and Time & Attendance-plus Replicon Web Expense, which helped Metro IT Resources to improve its company-wide processes for tracking employee time, productivity, attendance, and business expenses.

Officials with Metro IT Resources said that both editions of Replicon’s Web TimeSheet software-- Project & Billing and Time & Attendance0-plus Replicon Web Expense were seamlessly integrated for monitoring employee time and business costs in real-time.

Prior to deploying Replicon’s SaaS platform, Metro IT Resources was using two separate time-tracking systems for its offices located in Puerto Rico and the United States. As a result, both the two systems could not be merged, and neither was accessible off-site, thereby creating a highly inefficient process for tracking the company’s consultants' time on projects and associated costs.

With the help of Replicon's SaaS platform, Metro IT Resources is not only experiencing increased productivity but has also identified new revenue possibilities. In addition, Metro’s employees can enter their time from anywhere, managers can schedule staff and compare actual versus budgeted costs.

In addition, With Replicon's Web Expense will help employees to enter business expenses and track costs, in multiple currencies as required. With real-time visibility of employee time and costs, Metro IT Resources is able to optimize operations, easily generate reports, directly within the system, to monitor progress and identify additional project needs.
