TMC Names HireIQ as Winner of Communication Solutions Product of the Year Award

HireIQ Solutions, Inc. recently announced that its InterviewIQ virtual interviewing solution has been recognized with the 2011 Communication Solutions Product of the Year Award by TMC (News - Alert), a global, integrated media company.

HireIQ helps customer-facing companies effectively enhance their hiring and recruiting processes.

The Communication Solutions Product of the Year Award is given to products that display an optimized approach in addressing real business issues while delivering greater value for customers.

“We are delighted that InterviewIQ was recognized by TMC with a Communication Solutions Product of the Year Award,” said Kevin Hegebarth, vice president of Marketing and Product Management at HireIQ. “The award is further validation that InterviewIQ delivers real business value for our customers. Companies worldwide use InterviewIQ to streamline the talent acquisition process for their customer-facing positions.”

InterviewIQ, based on media-rich Web and voice response technology, guides an applicant through a virtual interview phase, designed as per the unique requirements of the employer. InterviewIQ effectively evaluates an applicant’s customer service aptitude, as well as aspects such as critical thinking, math skills, level of grammar proficiency, and his communication skills.

Developed as a Web-based application, InterviewIQ enables applicants to undergo interviews at their convenience. The information recorded during the interview is then stored for future retrieval and use by the recruiter or the hiring manager. This approach helps a company expand the reach and productivity of its recruiting team.

And because InterviewIQ is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert))-based solution, it can be deployed and be ready for use within a few hours.

Companies benefit from a measurable improvement in their hiring process via the InterviewIQ solution. As the hiring process gets streamlined and more effective, companies can expect to benefit from an 80-percent or more reduction in the time-to-fill cycle, as well as a 60-percent or more reduction in time taken to interview a candidate.

Companies just as well benefit from a significant reduction in attrition rate.
