Revlon Chooses Ultimate Software's Ultipro for U.S. Operations

Through a recent press release, Ultimate Software announced that its UltiPro human capital management system has recently been selected by the global cosmetic giant Revlon.

In the release, this provider of HCM SaaS (News - Alert) solutions announced that UltiPro is going to be Revlon’s exclusive HCM system of record for all its U.S.-based operations.

Ultimate software revealed that Revlon used a heavily customized in-house system for nearly two decades. But now the company was on the lookout for a state-of-the-art HCM solution that could deliver end-to-end capabilities. Ultimate Software’s UltiPro was selected for several factors such as its speed of deployment, business intelligence and reporting tools, full span of roles-based and configurable HCM features.

Revlon management was especially drawn to UltiPro’s SaaS delivery model. By taking advantage of this sophisticated cloud based SaaS model, Revlon gets rid of the responsibility of maintaining expensive on-premise hardware because Ultimate manages the solution in its secured data centers.

“Staying ahead of fast-changing trends is vital for businesses like Revlon. Traditional HCM applications frequently require rigid processes that can make change difficult. UltiPro frees customers from the restrictions of traditional on-premise systems by fully handling a diverse range of payroll complexities, adapting to unique business processes, and enabling changes without adding to IT expenses,” chief sales officer for Ultimate Greg Swick noted in a statement.

In addition, UltiPro's business intelligence tools, including its intuitive and easy-to-navigate report builder and fields, allow Revlon to quickly access reporting and workforce analytics.

The UltiPro solution also allows Revlon to make immediate adjustments to address changes that impact its employee-centric operations-from adding a job code to even adding a new company. UltiPro's Web-based features provide employees with the ability to access their personal HR, payroll and benefits information from home or off-site locations.

Last month, Ultimate Software announced that Equipment Depot has selected UltiPro to consolidate its payroll, HR, compensation management and recruitment processes into one unified solution.
