GT Nexus Partners with TradeCard

Cloud-based networking is in demand these days, as it provides all the benefits offered by a traditional network. On top of that, cloud-based networking costs relatively little, and is simple to deploy.

It’s usually delivered in a multi-tenant cloud-based model, easily used by customers and administrators alike.

Looking to explore opportunities in this field, GT Nexus recently partnered with TradeCard to come up with world’s biggest cloud-based network for trade and supply chain management companies.

Global supply chain management helps companies to reduce costs and increase operational expenses. It also assists firms in eliminating unnecessary expenses in the process of procurement.

Just as well, it reduces risks in the process of buying.

This partnership between both companies will help them manage more than $100 billion in direct supply chain trade. While GT Nexus provides cloud-based logistics, TradeCard offers cloud-based financial supply chain facilities for its customers.

While the transaction will be closing in early 2013, this partnership is subject to clearance from antitrust regulatory authorities.

“Our customers are the biggest winners in this merger,” noted Aaron Sasson, CEO at GT Nexus. “It's a true merger of equals. Together, we offer a single cloud network for enabling business processes across global trade networks – an enormous and still untapped opportunity for the vast majority of companies who have been struggling to take their businesses to the next level with complicated ERP systems.”

GT Nexus has witnessed its cloud solutions selected by various customers in recent years. Stora Enso recently selected the company’s cloud-based global logistics control platforms, allowing Stora to connect with its worldwide logistics partners. The company can also automate business processes with the help of multi-enterprise cloud technology platform.

Stora Enso selected GT Nexus's Supply Chain Intelligence applications for similar functions as well.
