Mitchell launches Risk and Performance Optimization solutions unit

Mitchell, a leader in technology, connectivity and information solutions to the Property & Casualty claims and Collision Repair industries, recently launched its Risk and Performance Optimization (RPO) solutions unit.

Led by Keith Peterson, RPO will provide analytics-based automation to insurance claims businesses, and will deliver through Mitchell's core software platforms. The unit will help strengthen Mitchell’s reputation as a top distributor of analytics-based solutions.

"Applying advanced analytics methodologies to claims data has the promise to drive tremendous improvements and insights into the claims handling process and trends overall,” said Mitchell CEO Alex Sun in a recent statement. “RPO will help Mitchell's clients deploy tools that analyze our data streams to improve and ensure fair and effective claim resolution."

A 20-year veteran of the predictive analytics industry, Peterson has previously worked as SVP of Global Data Product Development with Experian and Chief Operating Officer of Claritas.  He was also once employed at Mitchell.

"Claims leaders need access to more insight to identify where they can improve operating performance and better automation to assist adjusters in resolving claims faster and fairly," said Peterson.

Mitchell uniquely simplifies and accelerates the claims management and collision repair processes through its product. As North America's leading provider of Property & Casualty claims technology solutions, the company processes over 50 million transactions annually for over 300 insurance companies/claims payers and over 30,000 collision repair facilities.

With more than 1,700 associates located throughout the United States and Canada, the company has evolved to meet the changing needs of the many organizations it serves—offering a robust selection of technology and service solutions.

Mitchell's latest generation of products are built on the Mitchell Extended Enterprise Platform to fulfill the demands of highly collaborative business processes.
