Wente Family Estates Adopts Purchase-to-Pay Solution Set from DataServ

Wente Family Estates adopted the DataServ Purchase-to-Pay, or “P2P,” solution set in order to automate its Accounts Payable processes. This adoption happened as a part of its finance improvement process initiative.

This adoption puts forward a new five-year agreement between the two companies. According to this agreement, DataServ will offer their AP Invoice Visibility and Control solution with Automated Workflow and AutoVouch modules. By using this advanced Software as a Service, or “SaaS (News - Alert),” solution, the Wente Family Estates are able to utilize the benefits of latest document automation technology exclusive of the capital investment, technological undesirability or IT resources associated with conventional software. This leads to noteworthy economic advantages as well as improved financial control and visibility to Wente.

Art Jeannet who is the CFO of Wente Family Estates said, “As Wente Family Estates continues to expand our wines nationally, we wanted to improve Accounts Payable processing for all our North American operations while minimizing the need for IT resources and leveraging the capabilities of our AMS inventory system to the highest degree possible. DataServ’s P2P solution allows us to do this quickly.”

Jeff Watson who is the DataServ Account Manager for Wente said, “The fact that our solution can accept any document format is important considering that the client processes tens of thousands of documents annually. Plus our state-of-the-art Data Center adds a level of confidence for them that their documents are always accessible and secure.”
