OpsDog Now Offers Business Process Mapping Templates

Unclear job titles, responsibilities, lines of reporting, process definitions and success measures are some of the key factors that block the way to success in improving business. OpsDog, Inc., an online provider of business process improvement and reengineering knowledge, eliminates this confusion by classifying all business-related information into a standardized taxonomy with respect to specific industries and organizational areas.

OpsDog recently announced further expansion to its offerings. The expanded offering now includes BPMN 2.0 format business process map templates in addition to the constantly growing database of KPIs, organization charts, process improvements and best practices.

“Process maps serve a wide variety of purposes. Such tools can function as a training aid for new employees. They may even be useful for an interviewee at a new company to provide knowledge of a particular corporate finance business process before an interview. Others will certainly find even more novel uses for these maps as they become more numerous and easily accessible,” said the company in a statement.

This recently added BPMN 2.0-compliant Visio and PDF format process map templates include financial close and reporting, property tax, accounts payable, expense management, sales and usage tax, federal tax return, cost allocation, corporate treasury, credit and collections, budgeting and forecasting and fixed asset accounting.

The tools are available to access and download for free from the company’s finance business process mapping templates.

OpsDog now offers process maps, organization charts, performance metrics, improvement opportunities and best practices with respect to specific industries and functions.

Back in March, OpsDog successfully completed its first upload of business process mapping templates and key performance indicators. These tools, from Opsdog's previously private internal knowledge database, were then made available on its website for public consumption.
