Veramark Technologies, Inc. recently announced that Gartner, Inc. has positioned it in the 2012 Magic Quadrant for Telecom Expense Management (TEM). Veramark Technologies (News - Alert) is an independent global Telecommunications Management Company and a major provider of Telecom Expense Management solutions.

This is the second Magic Quadrant, which evaluates top sources of global IT and process services associated to TEM.

"Veramark's credibility in the market is growing,” said Tony Mazzullo (News - Alert), President and CEO of Veramark. “We have seen a remarkable 25-percent increase in new business during 2011 over the prior year. Recognition by Gartner (News - Alert) is further evidence that we are doing the right things for our customers."

The 2012 Magic Quadrant for TEM features 23 companies in total with Veramark being one among them. It also has the distinction of being one among six other U.S.-based independent global TEM companies to have made it to the 2012 Magic Quadrant for the TEM list.

The Gartner Report mentioned that for most organizations, the only affordable way of benefiting from program management capabilities that allow control over telecom services costs involves a TEM provider. TEM providers can also deliver additional capabilities for managing device diversity, as well as for bring-your-own-device (BYOD) initiatives.

Each of the competing organizations was evaluated on its strategic vision and level of competence to globally execute both mobile and fixed expense management. More than 200 companies across the globe are currently involved in TEM, and Gartner considered only 50 of those for the Magic Quadrant for TEM.
