BroadVision Launches Clearvale Ecosystems for HR

BroadVision announced that Clearvale Ecosystems for HR is now available allowing all HR professionals to connect with candidates, colleagues, and partners in the cloud. The service will soon be rolled out for other business functions and industries. Clearvale Ecosystems for HR allows administrators and employees to navigate seamlessly through the lifecycle of employment, from recruitment to new hire on-boarding.

With this release, BroadVision is allowing HR professionals to simultaneously manage public networks for job applicants, immigration lawyers and benefits brokers, alongside private networks for their global enterprise.

All this can be achieved from one central, secure log-in. The new solution includes several features that allow HR professionals to navigate through multiple Clearvale Networks from one central log-in, upload documents and broadcast to one or multiple networks within an Ecosystem and customize widgets to feature dynamic content from third party developers and social media, including Twitter.

Other features include allowing managers to communicate via status messages within a network or a group, or through direct communication, create blogs, wikis, discussion forums, and polls to accumulate and organize knowledge into folders and project groups, and search documents, discussions, and people across Clearvale Networks within an Ecosystem.

“ We were looking for an enterprise 2.0 solution that recognizes the reality that business is best managed not on a single social network, but on a 'network of networks',” said Synaptics’ (News - Alert) senior VP of Global Human Resources, Jim Harrington, in a press release. “Some networks need to be open to the public – for example, networks for recruiting employees – and some need to remain private.By enabling us to easily create and stitch together any number of functional networks, BroadVision's Clearvale Ecosystems solution is enabling us to easily develop an enterprise 2.0 environment that reflects the way work actually gets done,” Harrington added.
