Post University Selects Oracle CRM On Demand

Post University has selected Oracle CRM On Demand to transform outdated admissions, financial aid and student services processes to improve efficiency and the student experience.

Founded in 1890 and located in Waterbury, Conn., Post University is a student-focused, career-driven university that offers a wide array of degree programs to its more than 5,000 on-campus and online students of all ages.

Officials with Oracle (News - Alert) said that Post University will begin implementing Oracle CRM On Demand to improve efficiency and customer service within its admissions department, followed soon after by deployment in its financial aid, student services and registrar offices.

Company officials said that Oracle CRM On Demand will enable Post University to seamlessly scale and grow the system as the institution does.

According to company officials, Oracle CRM On Demand will help the university cut costs and improve efficiency by automating a substantial number of manual processes, resulting in a better experience for students, and university faculty and staff.

Reporting capabilities in Oracle CRM On Demand also will provide the university with an entirely new mechanism to uncover and act upon real-time business insight.

"Many of our current systems are antiquated and not up to the tasks of efficiently communicating with existing students or scaling to meet expected growth over the next year and beyond," said Mike Statmore, director, university IT, Post University, in a statement.

Statmore said that the university has built a solid reputation for providing an exceptional student experience, and this new system will enable it to provide even better, more efficient service.

“Oracle CRM On Demand is the total package, and we are thrilled to begin our implementation this summer so we can serve our students better,” he said.

"We look forward to working with Post University as they begin this ambitious goal and project," said Anthony Lye, SVP of Oracle CRM.

"We know the business value and results from Oracle CRM On Demand will make an immediate impact for the university," said Lye.
