AFORE Takes Over Comsecware

Canada based Comsecware, a company that develops technology which allows full application level security in cloud environments by protecting applications from outsider and administrator attacks, was recently acquired by AFORE Solutions (News - Alert), Inc., provider of the CloudLink cloud security and management software portfolio.

This new acquisition will allow the Comsecware technology to be incorporated as an additional level of security to the network and storage security products of AFORE's CloudLink portfolio.

"The acquisition of Comsecware accelerates AFORE goals of becoming the leader in Trusted Multi-Tenancy solutions," stated Alex Berlin, CEO of AFORE Solutions

Berlin said that the incorporation of Comsecware technology will extend their cloud security portfolio of products which offer network, storage and now application level security for enterprises deploying sensitive workloads into public or private cloud environments.

Afore has been a specialist in CloudLink cloud security that empowers cloud users with a powerful Trusted Multi-Tenancy Solution (TMT) addressing the barriers of security, manageability and performance and truly unlocking the economic benefits of cloud computing.  The company’s CloudLink virtual appliance and management software suite is also designed to enable a significant increase in the adoption of private, public and hybrid clouds.

"We are very excited to join forces with AFORE, which shares a common vision for cloud security," said Luis Huapaya, Chief Software Architect and founder of Comsecware.

Huapaya said that the combination of CypherX and CloudLink technologies further position AFORE to deliver advanced, tightly integrated application security in the cloud.

AFORE’s unique blend of CloudLink security products, ASE encryption appliance and InterPort networking software enable enterprises, service providers and networking vendors to accelerate innovation and deployment of advanced cloud services and networking applications.
