US-Based Three Pillar Global and India-Based BrickRed Merge to Expand Their Mobile Software Product Development



Partners for five years, Fairfax, VA, based software product development company Three Pillar Global and Noida, India based software product development and consulting firm BrickRed have reportedly merged with an aim to create new force in the field of mobile software product development.

According to the arrangement, BrickRed will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Three Pillar Global, but will be allowed to continue to operate as a distinct entity. As a result of the merger, the combined workforce of the new organization will comprise of over 500 employees, the merging companies said in a press release.  The organization will have offices in the United States, Argentina, India, the United Kingdom, Romania and The Netherlands. Neither of the parties divulged the terms of the transaction.

Through its innovative Virtual Development Centers, Three Pillar Global provides its clients in media, healthcare, education and financial services sectors with solutions expertise in the areas of mobile, SaaS (News - Alert) enablement and products.

Since 2002, BrickRed has been providing outsourced product development and QA consulting to its multi-national clients in the industries including healthcare, media and entertainment, financial services, security, e-Learning and travel and hospitality. The company has been recognized as in the Top 10 Product Development firms, Deloitte (News - Alert) Fast 50 India & Deloitte Fast 500 Asia Pacific and more recently, in the 50 best companies to work for in India.

The customers of both the companies can expect to enjoy many additional benefits from the expanded multi-national presence. Customers of the both the companies will receive enhanced support and greater access to the companies’ resources, Three Pillar Global CEO David DeWolf ensured.

Late last month Three Pillar Global announced that it has appointed Ann Thompson as VP Finance. Thompson joins the firm during a period of strong organic growth, recent acquisitions and $10 million in funding for future opportunistic expansion.
