PeopleLinx Taps Industry Stalwart Keith Fitzgerald to Accelerate Evolution of Its SaaS Platform

PeopleLinx, a US-based provider of LinkedIn (News - Alert) engagement and analytics software, has announced a key hire in Keith Fitzgerald. A former TicketLeap CTO, Fitzgerald now assumes the technology leadership of PeopleLinx.

PeopleLinx’ SaaS (News - Alert) platform has been designed to help enterprise professionals optimize their social presence using tools like LinkedIn. This customizable and flexible platform can quickly be deployed across the enterprise to help employees effectively navigate social networks for business. PeopleLinx claims that when integrated into the daily workflow, its platform can turn professional profiles, connections and updates into measurable results for sales, marketing and human resources.

Currently in expansion mode, PeopleLinx is rapidly expanding its clientele in Fortune 1000 companies. As the company’s new chief technology officer, Fitzgerald is expected to lead the company’s all technological initiatives.

As CTO, Fitzgerald is expected to add further innovation to the PeopleLinx software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. He is going to spearhead the engineering team in their efforts to upgrade the product to meet the changing needs of enterprise clients. Security and scalability will be two focus areas in this upgrading initiative.

In order to support the initiative, PeopleLinx will expand its development team. Fitzgerald is also going to lead the recruitment drive.

“Social business is already a large part of what marketing, sales and human resource executives do on a daily basis. However, they could be far more effective if they had expert guidance and automated tools to help them understand what's important. PeopleLinx is uniquely positioned to help companies and their employees navigate the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities of social technologies. I look forward to being a part of the PeopleLinx team − especially at this time of significant growth − and further developing the platform to meet client needs,” Fitzgerald noted in a news statement.

Last month PeopleLinx announced that it had secured $3.2 million in Series A round of funding led by Osage Venture Partners, Greycroft Partners, LLC, and Mission Operators Group, as well as a number of angel investors.
