PageUp People, a talent management solutions provider, recently sold a stake to Silicon Valley-based private investment firm Accel-KKR.

According to officials from PageUp People, funds will be used to expand the operations of the company. According to the terms of the agreement, Accel-KKR Managing Director Greg Williams has joined the PageUp People Board of Directors.

PageUp People has expanded its unified talent management suite, which now includes recruitment, performance, development, compensation, career and succession management modules.

The company helps multinational employers strategically align their talent resources to execute corporate strategy across borders, business units, cultures and languages – maximizing employee value and business results.

"Our strategy to bring best in class SaaS (News - Alert) talent management solutions to new markets is reinforced by this investment,” said PageUp People CEO, Karen Cariss. “The majority of our global Fortune 500 and ASX 100 clients have established and growing businesses in high growth regions such China, India, South-East Asia, Latin America and South Africa.”

“The demand to service existing clients is naturally drawing us to these markets but will also be a platform for exponential growth of new business," she added.

Meanwhile, Accel-KKR has made a majority equity investment in Accellos Inc., a supply chain execution software company focused on the SMB segment. Continuing its track record of investing behind supply chain technology providers and leaders in delivering technology solutions to SMB segments across industries, Accel-KKR is backing Accellos as it drives growth and the rapid adoption of its unified suite of supply chain execution solutions.
