IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Human Resource Business Process Outsourcing Recognizes ADP as a Leader



The arena of human resource business process is witnessing rapid transformation across the globe due to changing market scenarios and regular enhancement of solutions and services in terms of features and functionalities.

International Data Corporation (IDC (News - Alert)), a market intelligence and advisory company, has recently named ADP, a provider of human capital management (HCM) services, as a leader in the field of global human resources business process outsourcing (HR BPO).

According to “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide HR BPO 2012 Vendor Analysis,” a new study launched by IDC, ADP is the largest supplier of HR BPO services, with many areas of strength including global reach, reputation, viability and sustained affordability.

Within the research, it was found that among all the vendors, ADP fare much better than the others in terms of pace of innovation, customer service and portfolio strategy apart from other variables. A copy of the IDC MarketScacpe report can be downloaded here.

“Once again, ADP is a market Leader in our analysis, with over three million client lives served for processes including recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), HR, benefits and payroll,” said Lisa Rowan, research vice president, Talent Management and HR Services, IDC.

Additionally, IDC also mentioned a recent study carried out by Sourcing Analytics, Inc. focusing upon the total cost of ownership. In this research, it was found that outsourcing payroll to ADP in a BPO model considerably cuts down the costs involved with payroll administration and also boosts refinement within the organization,. It further helps in achieving cost reduction associated with HR transaction processing, time reporting and management.

A marketplace consisting of 1,000 employees for multiprocess HR BPO solutions including payroll services, HR solutions, employee benefits administration, RPO, learning and compensation management has been taken into account under the IDC report. On the basis of well-defined criteria, the vendors have been evaluated within the study that also emphasizes at some key factors that might emerge to be of utmost importance to register a victory in the markets.

Previously this month, VMware, Inc., a provider of virtualization and cloud infrastructure announced that its Socialcast was recognized as a leader in the report, “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Enterprise Social Software 2012 Vendor Analysis.”
