Helios, Provider of strategic human capital management solutions, has named iCore Networks as a Finalist of Helios HR 2012 Apollo Awards, recognizing the company’s excellence in human capital and unique capabilities to foster an outstanding work environment.
Considered one of the premier award programs, Helios HR 2012 Apollo Awards recognizes employers in the Washington metropolitan region that invest in innovative employee development initiatives. The award is in its sixth year.
Its selection process looks at organizations that have strong employee on-boarding processes, opportunities for mentoring, innovative programs and opportunities to develop leadership skills through charitable community involvement.
According to Helios HR, iCore Networks has shown its commitment for the company culture and development of strong teams, leadership and well educated individuals.
“This award recognition highlights our HR and Organizational Development efforts for creating programs that not only benefit the iCore organization as a whole, but the individual and ensuring that we are nurturing and developing our employees to become leaders as well as providing them the opportunity to attain their professional, personal and financial goals,” said Stephen G. Canton, Chairman and CEO at ICore.

Canton said as the company continues to grow and enhance its product lines, it’s committed to ensuring that iCore’s work environment is one that encourages its employees to work hard, be rewarded for their achievements and allows them the opportunity to grow in their careers and support outside organizations to better the community at large.
