Presagia is one of the leading developers of SaaS (News
- Alert) (Software as a Service) solutions for workforce health and absence management. The company recently announced the launch of SimplyLeave, which is an innovative and comprehensive leave management software for small and mid-sized employers.
Currently, many small and mid-sized employers keep track of their employee leave record by using paper files and spreadsheets. This makes it hard to follow legislated requirements and puts the company at a significant risk of Department of Labor fines and employee litigation.
SimplyLeave is a SaaS solution that has been designed to address this need. SimplyLeave supports employers' efforts to comply with the FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and State Family and Medical Leave legislation. The software comes pre-configured with standard State and Federal leave rules, as well as best-practice workflows that are supported with wizards and auto-generating 'next steps', and leave letter templates.
In a release, Nicola Boyd, Director of Professional Services at Presagia, said, "In fact, the decision to launch SimplyLeave was driven by the growing costs of employee absence and recent multi-million dollar settlements due to non-compliance. We believe that this is not only a problem for large employers, so have taken our Presagia Enterprise Leave Module and simplified it to meet the needs of small and mid-sized employers, making it faster to deploy and less costly at the same time".
SimplyLeave helps with compliance by consolidating leave data, automating leave workflows, providing instant, accurate leave eligibility and entitlement calculations, and also providing real-time reporting tools and dashboards. These features offer employers the ideal solution to manage leave consistently across their employee population and comply with the laws laid down.
Bob Potter, Director of Software Development at Presagia, said, "A key value provided by SimplyLeave is that it provides employers with the peace of mind that they are administering leave according to the latest FMLA and state FML legislation. This is because Presagia works with the national employment law firm Jackson Lewis and has an internal leave compliance team monitoring leave legislation and making the necessary changes."
