This K-12 education market-leader announced that it has added a new solution, alio Content to its alio finance and human resource management software suite, which according to the company, will help make alio the most comprehensive school financial management software on today’s market.

With a team of 200 IT professionals in seven locations, Weidenhammer provides customized IT solutions to any school district. Weidenhammer described alioContent, as a full-featured, integrated enterprise content management solution (ECM). According to its maker, the solution enables users to access and capture documents directly using the alio application.

alioContent eliminates the need for manual data entry and helps users save an average of seventeen seconds per document. This can be a significant time savings when users have to handle hundreds of documents each day.

Then, alio Content offers an easy retrieval process. This helps users locate archived documents within seconds rather than minutes. This altogether eliminates the situations, where users might have misfiled and need to refilling. This offers further saving opportunity, Weidenhammer officials explained.

Documents and forms generated by alio are automatically captured, indexed and filed, eliminating the need to print, index, and re-scan. Information can be viewed and retrieved via a simple web-based application. With the Serve module, output can be customized and delivered to a network printer, fax machine or e-mail recipient without manual intervention.

Weidenhammer said that it collaborated with Softdocs, Inc., a leading provider of K-12 ECM to launch alio Content. Softdocs currently serves over 450 school districts nationwide with content management and workflow solutions.
