Fiserv, a technology provider serving the financial services industry, reportedly upgraded its current Agiliance RiskVision Enterprise Risk, Policy and Compliance Management infrastructure with Agiliance’s Threat and Vulnerability Manager as well as Vendor Risk Manager applications.

Agiliance RiskVision solutions are supposed to help Fiserv manage risks including network, server, endpoint and mobile data, devices and applications.

Murray Walton, senior vice president and chief risk officer at Fiserv said in a statement, “Fiserv began its journey with Agiliance RiskVision in early 2010 to automate risk management across our diverse business units. We selected Agiliance based on its ease of delivery, quality of output, and overall cost. The results have been outstanding. Upon evaluation of several solutions, we chose Agiliance RiskVision's security management modules for their innovative and field-proven ability to correlate big data from our heterogeneous security tools and to help us govern workflow to remediate risks in near real-time.”

With the Agiliance Threat and Vulnerability Manager, Fiserv can implement full vulnerability lifecycle management, including identification, correlation, assessment, remediation and reporting, and leverage real-time authoritative threat and vulnerability data sources such as National Vulnerability Database and other proprietary services, including zero-day and early warning services. The solution is also capable of driving operational efficiencies by automating continuous monitoring and ticketing to remediate only business critical risks.

Agiliance explained that its Vendor Risk Manager can bring down the costs associated with managing vendor risk programs and at the same time enhance the ability to accurately calculate risk exposure and properly manage risks within acceptable tolerance levels.

Agiliance added that by planning to deploy the Agiliance Threat and Vulnerability Manager and Vendor Risk Manager applications, Fiserv is further tightening the risk detection and remediation loop around their enterprise.
