TVF Breaks New Ground in the Security Industry

Pinkerton, stated to be the nation's oldest professional protection firm, owned by Securitas, a Swedish company, included Iveda Solutions in its elite group of security-oriented companies called The Vigilance Federation (TVF).

The TVF, headed by Pinkerton Corporate Risk Management, claims to be an online intelligence service that offers security intelligence tools and capabilities typically available only in large MNCs and government agencies.

Iveda was specifically selected as a founding member because the company develops and markets enterprise-class cloud video surveillance services and is a DHS qualified anti-terrorism technology provider.

"We have been evangelizing cloud-video surveillance since 2003 and Pinkerton's recognition of its value to the ever challenging global security threats further validates the services we have been providing our customers since our founding days," said David Ly, president and CEO at Iveda Solutions.

All the six founding members of TVF are experts in their own fields. The wide variety of security services that they offer, when bundled together in a single feed, gives customers the agility, economy and a single point-of-purchase that they are looking for.

In a first extensive and real-world test of integration, TVF utilized IvedaEnterprise, Iveda Solutions' centralized video hosting and management service and its fully integrated wireless camera system at the recent G8/NATO Summit in Chicago.

Also, the bundled services are easy to use, quick to deploy, with no traditional infrastructure build out. Hence, customers can take advantage of the best-in-kind security systems.

Robert Dodge, senior vice president at Pinkerton, noted that the Federation was  now capable of  “extending the reach of potentially life-saving security information and services to a full spectrum of large, mid-sized and small companies, and even individual customers.”

Through a Web interface with a single login, in one dashboard, customers can access information using any Internet-accessible device.

The Federation is planning to extend the use of its integrated services to a group of large company customers and certain government agencies at both the Democratic and Republican conventions this summer.

Verdasys announced that it has been certified by Q1 Labs, an IBM (News - Alert) company and provider of security solutions, for its Security Intelligence Partner Program.
