Star Analytics and QlikTech have forged a partnership to enable customers have quick and easy access to data in Oracle (News - Alert) for business decisions.

As a technology partner in the QlikTech Qonnect program, Star Analytics will make it easy to integrate Star Command Center, Star Integration Server with the QlikView Business Discovery Platform. This is supposed to result in a seamless, high performance solution for automated extraction of data from Oracle Essbase, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle Hyperion Planning for delivery to QlikView.

Star Analytics asserted that combining QlikView's leadership and the QlikView Business Discovery platform with the unique data extraction and automation capabilities of Star Analytics brings great value to customers that want to extend their BI investment with high speed real time Business Discovery. Extending Star Analytics' collaboration with QlikTech will greatly benefit joint customers that need to reduce the cost and complexity of extracting and combining data from business intelligence applications that exist on-premise and in the cloud.

QlikView maintained that with it businesses can take insight to the edges of their organization, enabling every business user to do their jobs smarter and faster than ever. The company enables all users to create tailored insights that meet their unique business needs and timelines.

The QlikView Business Discovery platform enables users to share and collaborate on relevant data across individuals, workgroups and departments and lets them collectively discover within in-context workspaces, capture the conversation, securely share information, and review decision results.

Officials with QlikView noted that adding Star Analytics as a Technology Partner reaffirms QlikTech's commitment to provide a Business Discovery platform that delivers true self-service BI, empowers business users and drives innovative decision making. Star Analytics extents the QlikView platform into non-traditional cube technology that is often employed in the office of the CFO.
