Aspect (News - Alert) Software announced the appointment of Guido de Koning to its newly created position of Senior Vice President, Human Capital. The company is a provider of fully integrated customer interaction management, workforce optimization and back office solutions. It gives contact centers the tools they need for seamless alignment of the employees, processes and touch points to provide the customer with a productive and pleasant experience.

As the senior vice president, de Koning will be responsible for global human resource function as well as helping the organization with its strategic direction.

de Koning was VP of Human Resources at Vanguard Health Systems, overseeing 5,000 employees in a system with six hospitals, driving structural and cultural change. Before Vanguard, he was at University Hospital, an organization with 14,000 employees as part of an academic medical center in Cleveland, Ohio. He was responsible for leadership development, performance management, engagement and managing talent. Additional experience includes as a principal consultant with The Gallup Organization for ADP, Baxter Healthcare, Citibank, Cinergy, Fidelity, Owens Corning, Standard Register and Wells Fargo (News - Alert).

de Koning holds several degrees including a master's degree in General Management from Nyenrode University, a bachelor's degree in International Business from the Haarlem Business School in the Netherlands, and a post-graduate degree of the Japan Interuniversity Program in Japanese management, language and culture from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
