Facing unbalanced financial situations, parents now have prime responsibility to develop financially capable children. When it comes to money, kids need to be competent and confident. FamZoo, a developer of finance software designed specifically to help parents teach kids good money habits, solves the 'kids and money' problem for parents through its prepaid cards that work together to build responsible financial habits.
FamZoo recently signed a partnership deal with TransCard, a Chattanooga-based provider of prepaid products, to launch new family banking solution based on the TransCard prepaid platform. The solution features a family pack of affordable, widely accepted prepaid cards. The cards integrate with FamZoo’s online family finance management (FFM) tools to help parents teach kids good money habits.
FamZoo’s new prepaid card solution will be available directly to families on FamZoo.com or through partner financial institutions offering TransCard’s co-branded Unlimited Family Banking solution.
Also, the company’s Unlimited Family Banking is claimed by the company as the “smarter and safer way for families to spend wisely.” Family members can load cards for free using direct deposit, move money instantly between linked cards with no fees, pay bills and access cash at ATMs worldwide - all for one low monthly fee. Families can stay in control while on the go by checking balances and moving funds with free mobile access.
FinovateSpring 2013, a demo-based conference held in San Francisco on May 14 and 15, will showcase the best innovations in financial and banking technology from a mixture of established companies and brand-new startups. At this conference, FamZoo has been selected to feature its new family banking solution based on the TransCard Prepaid platform.
This will be FamZoo’s second appearance at Finovate. In 2011, FamZoo was voted Best of Show at FinovateFall for the debut of its Partner Edition product, which brings co-branded family finance management solutions to banks and credit unions.
Not only this, TransCard has also come out with yet another offer for students. The company launched Student Prepaid Card, which is noted to be the smarter and safer way for consumers to spend. The card comes with cool features that help cardholders take control of their finances and stay out of debt.
