Billhighway Implements Financial Technology Infrastructure for Automation Alley Fund

Billhighway, a company specializing in cloud-based financial management solutions for not-for-profit and member-based organizations, recently signed a partnership agreement with the Automation Alley Fund, an organization that supports business diversification and encourages economic and workforce development activities in Southeast Michigan.

Donations to the Automation Alley Fund are used to expand Automation Alley programs and services, including talent development programs, entrepreneurial services, international business services, defense and manufacturing services and other business development programs, all of which contribute to economic growth and improved quality of life in Southeast Michigan.

“We are so pleased to work with the Automation Alley Fund to open up multiple fundraising channels through our Enterprise platform,” Tracy-Ann Palmer, chief growth officer at Billhighway said in a statement. “Through automation of manual tasks and systems integration, we’re empowering the Automation Alley Fund to concentrate on the business of raising funds and fostering relationships.”

As per the terms of this agreement, Billhighway will implement the financial technology infrastructure needed for the Automation Alley Fund to collect donations from a variety of sources and automate manual accounts receivable processes. Billhighway’s enterprise financial management solution will be used to accept donations and process them safely and securely by check via lockbox facility and online by way of an integrated Web form.

Billhighway believes that these kinds of enhancements greatly reduce the risk of error, improve data quality and increase cash flow for the organization.

“We chose to work with Billhighway because of their commitment to quality, dedication to understanding our particular needs, and collaborative approach to working with us. Personally working with the Billhighway team members who would be assigned to our project helped us know that they sincerely cared about helping us raise funds for our organization,” Kim Cross, director, Philanthropy at Automation Alley, mentioned.

In another release, Billhighway’s Client Care team received high scores during preliminary judging and was named a finalist in the seventh annual Stevie Awards. Billhighway has already won a Gold, Silver or Bronze award for recognition in the Innovation in Customer Service category.
