Virtusa Corporation Launches CSalt, a Compliance Suite for Alternative Investments



Virtusa Corporation, an IT services company, launched CSalt Compliance suite, specifically designed to bring down the compliance burden for alternative investments advisors.

Designed to meet the requirements of Form PF, 13F, CPO-PQR, OPERA, AIFM Directive and other U.S. and European regulatory filings, the new solution lets one to import and store data and fulfill multiple regulatory requirements from one place.

With CSalt users can seamlessly gain control over the data loading and normalization process for each of their funds in a secure, simple, transparent and cost effective manner and is designed to adapt to future requirements as well. The solution is easily accessible from a web browser and has an option to be hosted from a fully redundant, backed up and secure data center. Users can also save costly and time-consuming IT resources with CSalt and it can also be easily synced with future compliance requirements as they emerge. 

Erik DiGiacomo, senior vice president of financial services consulting at Virtusa said that, “The data that must be captured for Form PF and other reporting isn’t trivial, and it’s putting significant stress on many organizations. These regulations don't simply create a new set of forms to fill out, they require entirely new processes that must be supported by innovative technology and renewed data management rigor.”

According to Virtusa, its CSalt solution has taken out much of the complexity so that firms can focus on what they do best: managing investments efficiently for maximum return.
