- Alert) Wallet and apps of that ilk have made it popular to pay as quickly as you can using NTC technology. Some of the biggest companies in the world have made moves to make it easier for their customers to use the latest mobile payment technology. One of the smaller mobile payment companies is trying to get quite a bit bigger thanks to their mobile app. The makers of LevelUp have taken their their application to Colorado with a launch inside of Larkburger.
Larkburger is a popular fast-casual gourmet burger chain that currently boasts seven locations in the state. The LevelUp application will allow the restaurant’s customers to quickly pay with their mobile phones for anything they purchase at one of the chain’s locations. LevelUp's Chief Ninja Seth Priebatsch, talked about his company’s excitement over the new launch. "LevelUp is on the move towards national expansion, and we're psyched to break ground in the Rockies with Larkburger. We love working with like-minded partners like Adam Baker and his team. We know that LevelUp is going to provide a super-fast, convenient payment experience that's going to make Larkburger even more popular with their customers."
LevelUp was launched in 2011 by SCVNGR, one of the truly giants in the mobile gaming industry. The application is free and will allow users to use a quick pay system at more than 3,000 different restaurants and stores. The application has been made available on both Android (News - Alert) and iOS platforms. The application is easy to use by simply syncing it to your credit card information. LevelUp takes just a few seconds to record a transaction and it will quickly email you a receipt. This particular feature is important for Larkburger which has a stated goal of having a smaller ecological footprint than most other burger joints.
"We're always searching for ways to make our customer experience seamless, and partnering with LevelUp made perfect sense," said Larkburger President Adam Baker. "Streamlining the transaction process while also rewarding our customers is a win-win for all of us."
