CaptureToCloud Closes Series A Funding



Recently, CaptureToCloud obtained $4.7 million in new venture capital funding, led by Acero Capital. The firm will look introduce its Social Workspace to market with the funding.

CaptureToCloud is a company that allows users to combine digital content from various sources for anytime, anywhere access in a cloud app. It allows them to capture Web content or drag and drop items from Google Drive or files from Dropbox into their Social Workspace.

Customers can then share those items or collections via e-mail, Facebook (News - Alert), Twitter or CaptureToCloud.

CaptureToCloud believes the product has the ability to fundamentally change the way people work. It is the first social enterprise software app to bring together any type of digital content, social collaboration and tight combination with the Google (News - Alert) Apps suite.

From some of the most well-known and respected companies in the world, the company has also announced its advisory board members who come with a strong and complementary set of backgrounds including enterprise and cloud software, marketing, product management and business development.

“This Series A funding comes on the one-year anniversary of the founding of CaptureToCloud," said Ramon Nunez, CEO at CaptureToCloud. "With tens of thousands of users already relying on the CaptureToCloud app, the financing assures them of the long-term commitment to providing the Social Workspace service.”

The company recently launched its new Social Workspace, which for the first time lets customers to take any type of digital data to distribute or collaborate with anyone on any device in the cloud. Tightly integrated with Google Apps, CaptureToCloud was developed for professionals and SMBs to deliver a unique Social Workspace.

Available in the Google Apps Marketplace, Google Chrome Web Store, Google Play and at www.capturetocloud.com, CaptureToCloud offers both a free and premium service.
