Tokyo Stock Exchanged Provided with DMA Solution by MarketPrizm

Market data and trading infrastructure services provider MarketPrizm has implemented a fully managed Direct Market Access (DMA) solution at the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) that will supply customers with market access services such as data, managed hosting, order routing and low latency networking in the TSE data center. MarketPrizm also began providing its DMA solution services to Nomura earlier in August.

The TSE co-location service was developed by MarketPrizm to provide TSE investors and trading participants with easy access to the markets equities, REITs, ETFs and derivatives. Users can now access raw and normalized data, as well as broker connectivity, when they collocate with MarketPrizm inside the TSE data center.

Users can also use TSE’s Arrownet service, which accesses the data center through fast and reliable data communication travels. This guarantees continuity of business, especially in times of wide-area disaster. Another benefit is that users are able to connect and retrieve market data from other APAC venues through MarketPrizm’s feed inside the TSE data center. The TSE’s Arrownet service, which is provided by Juniper Networks (News - Alert), is an ultra-reliable, low latency, high capacity network that backs and supports next generation securities trading systems.

The market data and trading infrastructure services provider is the first company to supply an independently managed colocation service with the TSE. It offers financial companies a fully managed access solution into the market with the best latency with the TSE. MarketPrizm can link brokers with buyers for execution inside the colocation service and supply the brokers with a fast on-board program for their clients.

“Our mutualized solution lowers the cost of entry into Japan and enables overseas customers to trade without a local office in Japan," said Tanuja Randery, MarketPrizm’s chief operating officer.

With the launch of the TSE Colocation and enhanced services, user’s ability to access the TSE will be easier, which experts hope will result in an increase in growth in the market.
