Metanga - A Billing Expert that Drives Smarter Monetization?

MetraTech (News - Alert) Corp. empowered yet another organization when it provided customer enrollment, billing and support to WebbStone through Metanga, its multi-tenant, cloud-based billing application.

Metanga provides an end-to-end customer monetization platform for the Cloud or SaaS (News - Alert) business and helps them build products, enroll customers, define pricing and more, through a powerful, cloud-based solution.

WebbStone, a new SaaS provider offering the latest, technologically advanced, customer relationship management solution, first selected MetraTech to handle its monetization needs before going live on April 12, 2012.

"In order to gain a competitive advantage, we were looking for a product that gave us an end-to-end way to monetize our customer base, but would also allow us to begin monetizing our services immediately,” said Keith Webb, CEO at WebbStone, in a press release.

MetraTech's Metanga not only provided the functionality typically needed by SaaS businesses but also delivered the speed-to-Market that WebbStone required. In just five days WebbStone's production account was ready to enroll and bill.

As SaaS players seek to extend their reach, many companies are implementing multi-axis pricing models that allow them to offer their differently packaged products to customers across the widest spectrum.

WebbStone is hence offering paid models of its SaaS-based CRM, and Metanga is expected to manage the dynamic customer lifecycle monetization features of both.

"Not only are SaaS companies expected to offer flexible pricing; they must do so quickly in order to keep ahead of other markets,” said Scott Swartz (News - Alert), CEO and founder at MetraTech. “We are excited to provide WebbStone with Metanga cloud tools to monetize a great SaaS business."

Other news  reports MetraTech Corp. has announced that PT Infinys System Indonesia will leverage Metanga, MetraTech’s multi-tenant, cloud-based billing and revenue management application, replacing its current billing server. Infinys plans to use Metanga to grow its business throughout Indonesia and Asia.
