EcoSys EPC Solution Selected by Noble Energy

EcoSys, a provider of best-in-class enterprise planning and cost controls software, recently announced that Noble Energy, Inc., an independent energy company engaged in worldwide oil and gas exploration and production, has selected EPC, EcoSys’ web-based project cost management solution.

The solution is helping Noble Energy manage project costs for the multi-billion dollar development of two offshore natural gas fields.

EcoSys EPC (Enterprise Planning & Controls) delivers practices for full lifecycle project cost management including capital planning, budgeting and forecasting, and comprehensive management of funds, costs, resources and earned value.

For users, a key advantage of EcoSys EPC is the easy-to-use web interface that tailors to an organization's business processes, while automating the integration of planning and execution data. For management, a key benefit is the configurability of the system to support complex business processes and reporting requirements without requiring the involvement of IT staff.

EcoSys EPC provides the ability to tailor terminology, web spreadsheets, reports, and dashboards to specific requirements without custom programming.

“With over a decade of experience working with the oil and gas industry, we have incorporated established standards into our product. Accuracy of reporting is crucial to project management, as is the comfort level of the manager using the software solution. EcoSys EPC was designed with these thoughts in mind to meet the needs of project cost managers so they can create accurate reports in a timely manner,” said Javier Sloninsky, CEO at EcoSys.

Recently, Aspectus PR, a global communications and PR agency focusing on financial services, energy, engineering and B2B technology and events, was appointed by EcoSys as its communications firm of record.

EcoSys engaged Aspectus to help raise its corporate profile across the energy, oil & gas, construction & engineering and utilities sectors. Aspectus will manage a media relations and content generation campaign to position EcoSys as a thought leader in project cost management.
