Coupa Software (News - Alert) recently announced that Quiznos India has recently deployed the Coupa for Retail e-procurement solution to assist the company with its expansion plans. A master franchisee of Southern India, Apollo Elixirs Pvt., Ltd was responsible for introducing the popular Quiznos chain to India in 2011. The number of franchises quickly expanded, which made Apollo Elixir search for solutions to help streamline the business.

Quiznos India decided to go with the Coupa for Retail e-procurement solution because of its ability to combine the stores’ collective spend intelligence and estimate the future purchasing needs of each Quiznos location.

Apollo Elixirs will now leverage Coupa to get a clear picture into inventory orders and costs across all stores. With this information, Mathur and his team will be able to make proper recommendations on the basis of past order volume. This will ensure that the demands are anticipated in advance, reducing the probability of exhausting the inventory and cutting down on shipping costs.
