Telvent to Reveal 1Q Numbers on May 16



Leading real-time IT solutions and information provider, Telvent, will announce its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2011 before the opening of the market on Monday, May 16, 2011.

The results will be declared in a conference call conducted by Ignacio Gonzalez, Chairman and CEO, and Manuel Fernandez Maza, CFO and Head of Investor Relations.

The conference call will be simultaneously webcast, at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time / 5:00 P.M. Madrid Time on Monday, May 16, 2011. To access the conference call, participants in North America should dial (877) 263-0337 and international participants +1 (706) 758-3263.

Recently, CCR Rodoanel in Brazil selected Telvent SmartMobility Tunnel solution to better allocate traffic flows across the Metropolitan Region of Sao Paulo (MRSP). CCR Rodoanel will make use of Telvent SmartMobility Tunnel solution for this purpose. The new tunnel management system will provide operators in charge of highway's three tunnels management and maintenance constant intelligence on what is happening inside the tunnel. Apart from facilitating efficient management of maintenance plans, this will lead to a substantial improvement in incident response times. Telvent will install Telvent SmartMobility Tunnel, based on its supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) technology. Also, the company is planning to install solutions such as fire detection control, emergency and security signaling system, closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance, emergency intercom, variable message systems, lighting, ventilation, communications network. With this contract Telvent is looking to strengthen its position in the Brazilian market, the company has stated.
