Bank Street Capital Partners Debuts with Special Focus On Growth Market Equity Sector

Bank Street Group, which offers a one-stop shopping experience for its middle market clients seeking sophisticated financial services, recently announced the formation of Bank Street Capital Partners (BSCP). Newly formed BSCP announced that it would seek investment opportunities in small-to-mid-size companies with proven business models and positive EBITDA that require capital to fund organic growth, strategic acquisitions or to provide shareholder liquidity.

In a press release, the boutique investment banking firm explained that the newly formed company will focus on growth equity, acquisition finance, and special situations for small and mid-size growth companies in the communications, media and technology sectors. The company will be leveraging the extensive resources of the Bank Street Group, the Group officials said.

In the release, Bank Street Group further revealed that BSCP will be led by industry veteran Ted Mocarski, who has over 17 years of experience in the private equity sector. According to Bank Street Group, Mocarski invested in over 30 companies during his successful career.

In a statement, Richard Lukaj, senior managing director of Bank Street said, “The formation of a principal business is a natural extension of our advisory practice that will leverage the deep sector expertise and transactional capabilities of our team. We see a significant amount of deal flow with attractive companies that are simply not on the radar screen of many larger private equity firms and we believe that BSCP will be positioned to deliver strong returns to our limited partners through proprietary deal flow and in partnership with other financial sponsors. We also believe that Bank Street will be well positioned to optimize the results of our investments in their ultimate exits as a result of our transactional capabilities and relationships with a broad array of strategic and financial parties from over $500 billion of transactions executed in this arena.”
