Financial application process automation and integration software provider, Star Analytics, recently announced the launch of Star Task Builder toolkit to automate finance application ecosystems, such as data integration, consolidation, calculation, reconciliation and report distribution.

The new Star Task Builder toolkit helps enterprise customers to accelerate financial consolidation, reporting and planning with Task Packs, which automate financial processes across finance application and data warehousing environments.

The new offering facilitates in automation of manual processes and eliminates the need to write scripts or other complex code running across an ecosystem of Oracle (News - Alert) and multiple vendor Finance applications. Consequently, this reduces maintenance tasks.

The new Star Task Builder Toolkit allows a community of Star Partners, customers and third-party developers to build Task Packs. The Tasks developed using the toolkit can plug into the Star Finance Command Center's Task menus. This provides full control over user-defined input parameters, data validation and error handling properties.

The Star Finance Command Center provides a centralized environment for managing tasks and processes across Oracle applications, hybrid environments and data warehouses over the web and mobile devices, such as iPhone, BlackBerry (News - Alert) and other Smartphone devices.

In addition, the Star Finance Command Center features a library of tasks for Oracle Hyperion Financial Management that eliminate complex code, making it easy to automate and monitor end-to-end tasks that span Finance application processes.

Apart from increasing the efficiency by eliminating time consuming, error prone processes, the new toolkit also allows customers and partners to quickly download and instantly deploy automation Task Packs from the Star Analytics support website.

In addition, a growing partner and customer community offers a larger selection of Task Packs, thereby enabling faster automation tasks.

Officials with Star Analytics said that the new product uses the company’s technology in its Task library offerings for Oracle Hyperion Financial Management “HFM”, Financial Data Quality Management “FDM”, and QlikView. This helps in extending the value of customers’ investments in systems.
