Craig Wireless Completes Acquisition of Woosh Wireless Limited in New Zealand

Craig Wireless Systems Ltd. has announced that the company’s 51 percent owned subsidiary, Woosh Wireless (NZ) Limited, has completed the acquisition of the business and related assets of Woosh Wireless Limited.

Woosh is much faster than dial-up. There will be no tedious delays when you send and receive emails and photographs, or download videos and music. Within the Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Southland coverage areas, it provides wireless and calling services. You can get Woosh Calling in addition to your broadband plan. Same phone number, same wires, same broadband speed the only difference is it comes at a better price on one bill, Craig Wireless claims.

“We are very pleased to have completed this transaction and look forward to developing our business presence in New Zealand, a country that we strongly identify with, and passionately believe has such a bright future", said T. Boyd Craig, the Chief Executive Officer of Craig Wireless in a company press release.

Woosh offers a range of wireless plans to choose from. You can choose from any of the company’s wireless plans whether they are a home user or a small, medium or large business. The company does not penalize business with extra fees unlike some suppliers. The plans include free National calling and loads of other free phone services. The company’s FASTPACK plans above 5GB come with a selection of options for the customers to choose from.

Recently, the company announced that an order for summary judgment in the case of Craig Wireless and Craig Wireless Manitoba Inc. v. Clearwire (News - Alert) Legacy LLC and Fixed Wireless Holdings LLC, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington has been entered. The claim was filed by the company in connection with the alleged failure of Clearwire to provide equipment to the company pursuant to an agreement entered into among the parties.
