Industry takes Note of WVT Communications Acquisition



In recent years, we have witnessed a lot of mergers and acquisitions in networking, computing, infrastructure and telecom space.  WVT Communications has finalized the acquisition of Alteva (News - Alert) just weeks after the official announcement. This recent acquisition of Philadelphia-based Alteva, LLC has many in the industry taking notice.

Alteva offers the most reliable network, the most responsive and proactive customer service and the best value to its customers.

According to a press release, with the recent spurt of mergers and acquisitions in the telecom technology sector, the WVT-Alteva deal has been rated in the top ten to watch according to CRN.com in its 08/18/11 article "12 Recent Networking Mergers and Acquisitions To Keep An Eye On; And Then There Were Fewer."

The article mentions, "The networking, infrastructure and telecom spaces have been consolidating like crazy in recent years...since (April 2011) some of the most eye-opening M&A moves of the year have been proposed or completed.   Here's a look at 12 recent networking acquisitions every channel partner with an interest in the market should keep an eye on."

In other company news, TMCnet reported that Warwick Valley Telephone Company (WVT Communications) has acquired Alteva.
