The Munich-based AURELIUS Group is set to acquire 100 percent of TDS HR Services and Solutions GmbH (TDS HR), a provider of outsourced human relations (HR) services.

The transaction is subject to the approval of the relevant antitrust agency, and should be completed in late April.

Officials with AURELIUS said the deal also includes the regional companies, TDS HR Services and Solutions Austria GmbH and TDS HR Services and Solutions Switzerland AG. The seller is Neckarsulm-based TDS AG, a Fujitsu (News - Alert) Group subsidiary.

"With the TDS HR Services and Solutions, we are acquiring a company with substantial potential," said Donatus Albrecht, on the AURALIUS Board and responsible for the M&A business, in a statement.

Albrecht said that the spin-off company operates in a market with strong future growth and complements the company’s commitment to excellent business services.

AURELIUS subsidiaries, Getronics and Connectis, already have considerable experience in the IT and services sector.

“As part of the AURELIUS Group, the new acquisition will focus on business-oriented IT services in Human Resources. With individual, customized solutions, AURELIUS intends to strengthen the sales and earnings of TDS HR Services & Solutions over the long term," he said.

"This sale enables us to concentrate on core IT outsourcing business and our portfolio supporting the SAP (News - Alert) environment - from consulting to solutions for whole industries and provides everything our customers need for In-Memory-Computing with SAP HANA," said Dr. Heiner Diefenbach, CEO of TDS.

Earlier in February, AURELIUS Group announced that it will acquire Tieto Deutschland GmbH, Eschborn, as well as related activities in the Netherlands, Poland and India, from the Tieto Corporation based in Helsinki, Finland.

Tieto is selling these activities in order to focus on its core markets. The acquisition includes Tieto Deutschland GmbH, Tieto Netherlands Healthcare BV and some dedicated development resources in the off-shore and near-shore centers in Poland and India.
