Halogen and Qontext Link Workforce Collaboration Directly to Talent Management Processes

Halogen Software recently announced that it would collaborate with Qontext Inc to enable customers from both companies to gain access to better internal communication and collaboration in the areas of workforce decision-making and talent management processes.

The partnership will combine the benefits of Halogen's end-to-end talent management suite with Qontext's enterprise social software. Halogen's talent management suite is designed to increase performance while the social enterprise software from Qontext removes hindrances that prevent a smooth collaboration across the enterprise.

In a release, Samir Ghosh, Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at Qontext Inc, said, "Human Resources is a natural business function to benefit from social collaboration, which is why we're excited to partner with Halogen Software. Qontext's unique abilities to link social collaborations -- and what we call 'contextual pinning' -- to relevant processes and records in the Halogen solution helps increase productivity and knowledge management for HR, managers, employees and event candidates."

Now HR professionals, consultants and employees who are involved with recruiting, performance appraisals, e-learning and succession planning will be able to leverage this platform to share an intuitive conversation thread that is permanently linked to the application and process to which it related.

Donna Ronayne, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Halogen Software, said, "The combination of Qontext's social collaboration technology and Halogen's integrated talent management suite can be very powerful. Building a world class workforce demands the involvement of every layer of management as well as the HR team. The easier it is for all of these people to communicate and share information within the context of the Halogen Solution, the more effective their efforts will be in areas like talent acquisition, succession planning and professional development."

This partnership will provide talent management lifecycle teams with better collaboration and communication that will increase the overall efficiency and performance with regards to recruitment, training and succession planning.
