Kenexa Unveils StandOut Online Strengths Assessment Test

Kenexa has announced the launch of StandOut, the next-generation online strengths assessment from Marcus Buckingham. The company specializes in the provision of business solutions for human resources.

In a release, Dr. Courtney McCashland, president of Kenexa’s Global Assessment Division said, “Crucial to effective workforce management is the ability to optimize performance by leveraging employee strengths in the right roles. StandOut enables Kenexa’s clients to focus, reward, engage and challenge their employees to produce the best thinking and business outcomes.”

According to company sources, StandOut has been designed especially to bring out any individual’s top two capabilities besides also revealing practical techniques that can help managers and employees to be successful at work.

Companies can select and retain best performing employees by using Kenexa’s various assessment tests. These tests are based on seven key areas that predict individual performance and potential such as experience, skills, abilities, personality, motivation, judgment and culture fit.

The over 1,000 tests that Kenexa has designed were used to conduct over 30 million assessments in 14 languages and in 44 countries within the last two years, revealed company sources.

Organizations which conduct the test can leverage the StandOut’s reports that include a 20-page individual employee report to find a person’s comparative advantage and greatest value to the team besides throwing light on the ideal career choices.

The manager’s report links the team’s individual assessments which help arrive at a meaningful and actionable result. Also managers are given coaching to reward, motivate and challenge each employee depending on their capabilities.

“StandOut helps managers answer three questions: how can I become a better performance coach, how can my employees take responsibility for their own performance and development and how can we accelerate the uptake of best practices? By utilizing StandOut in conjunction with Kenexa’s deep expertise in assessments, organizations can derive competitive advantages and attain better employee engagement,” Dr. McCashland added.

TMCnet reported recently that Kenexa and Aberdeen have joined to explain the relevance of assessment solutions to improve business performance.
