Serco Awarded Army HR Solutions Contracts



Serco, Inc., a leading professional, technology, and management services provider to the federal government, has been awarded two delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contracts for HR solutions Recruiting & Retention (R&R) Support Services and Personnel Services Support of Human Resources Services (PSS).

The two contracts will be in addition to the Studies & Analysis contract, which is also an Army HR solutions program. Serco was chosen for this project based on its human resource programs and systems, with special focus on Army Human Resource programs and systems focused on the personnel life-cycle during time in the military.

Both ID/IQs have multiple awardees so that they can compete on upcoming task orders and complete them on time. The R&R contract is valued at $274 million to be covered over a period of five years with one base year and four one-year option periods. Similarly the PSS contract is valued at $1.3 billion for a period of five years with one base year and four one-year option periods.

Serco will have the opportunity to compete for work under the R&R contract by focusing on business management services, program analysis, information technology, counseling, and processing and training, with special attention being given to the information technology area. Under the PSS contract, Serco will be primarily competing for completion of tasks in order to provide transition support and processing, counseling, wounded warrior programs, and family community programs. The contracts will benefit Serco to continue to grow its working relationship with the U.S. Army in the area of human resource programs and systems.

Serco provides valuable service to its clients by managing people, processes, technology and assets more effectively. Serco provides advisory services in addition to designing, integrating and delivering innovative service solutions across all branches of the U.S. military, federal civilian agencies and the intelligence community. Serco has been awarded and completed approximately 400 contracts in the areas of National Security & Intelligence, IT & Professional Services, Human Capital Management, Engineering & Logistics and Defense Personnel.
