ManageEngine, maker of a suite of cost effective network, systems, security and applications management software solutions, has introduced ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer 6.1, a Web-based, agentless application designed to provide greater levels of Event Log security and centralized management in large, geographically dispersed network environments.

According to company officials, the offering helps IT administrators pass tests from auditors and forensic authorities.

EventLog Analyzer 6.1 was also designed to help IT administrators better work in today's global enterprise networks. The new ManageEngine (News - Alert) release includes a centralized log archive, where logs collected from different geographic locations are stored. It can be customized by MSPs/MSSPs to feature their branding and allows service providers to retain their brands as they provide services in their customer's network.

Designed to help IT Managers guard against internal user threat; maintain and demonstrate compliance with government regulations; and ensure the optimal security and performance of servers, switches, routers, operating systems and applications, the application automates and centralizes the collection and analysis of device and application event logs from across the enterprise; alerts IT administrators to specific events; and automatically generates detailed, custom reports, allowing IT administrators to more quickly identify the user behavior of policy violations and the cause of any hardware or software anomaly on the network.

Chenthil Kumaran, product manager, ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer, said to keep abreast with the market priorities and end user requirements, ManageEngine keeps improving the EventLog Analyzer product, and the latest release is made even more capable with numerous easy-to-use features, including log data storage encryption.

Kumaran also said that administrators can count on ManageEngine to continue with other regular updates, such as support for new devices and log formats.
