FireEye (News - Alert), Inc. the chief player in next-generation Malware Protection Systems announced its joining the ArcSight (News - Alert) Common Event Format program by certifying the FireEye Malware Protection System. Federal and enterprise customers will now be able to combine FireEye threat prevention intelligence into the ArcSight Enterprise Threat and Risk Management platform to accurately stop data exfiltration and malware infections.
The FireEye MPS blocks the targeted attacks and also offers accurate, actionable events highlighting the exact nature of an inbound attack or outbound callback, like data theft or fraudulent transaction activities.

FireEye’s Malware-VM and Malware-Callback technologies analyze both inbound and outbound network traffic for providing a complete view of malicious activities to the ArcSight ETRM platform and stop the advancing threats which are targeted towards the largest and most complex federal and enterprise networks.
