MEGA to Demonstrate How to Increase the Value of EA by Combining IT with GRC

MEGA, a provider of unified enterprise architecture and governance, risk, and compliance solutions, is going to demonstrate how companies can accelerate business transformation by combining their IT and process architecture initiatives with risk, audit, and compliance activities. For many years, MEGA has been recognized by leading industry analyst firms for its software solutions in EA and GRC.

At the upcoming Gartner (News - Alert) Summit, MEGA will facelift new software solutions that enable the direct connection between EA and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities. The new EA and GRC solutions are based on a single technology platform will enable companies to go far beyond what they have seen in the industry before.

"Most companies are engaged in separate, but parallel activities in enterprise architecture and risk management," explained Lucio de Risi, CEO, MEGA, in a statement. "Both types of initiatives use similar processes and rely on much of the same data, creating duplications, redundancies, and silos of unrelated information that could be more useful. Our customers tell us that bringing these two worlds together creates incredible efficiencies, saves time and money, and improves business decisions."

Enterprise architecture (EA) programs have been recognized by industry experts as business asset for organizations because they integrate all aspects of the company together.

"EA generates a valuable information resource that can be a reliable foundation for sound management decisions. Business results become even more successful when companies add risk management, internal audit, and compliance activities to the traditional EA process of collecting, analyzing, and sharing process data," continued de Risi.

Enterprise architects, business planners and strategists, and CIOs and senior IT managers can leverage the Gartner summit to learn ways for increasing EA value by using proven techniques for success. The can also understand how EA has continued to evolve as a strategic management discipline, and how EA facilitates organizational transformation.
