AvePoint recently announced the availability of its DocAve 6 Service Pack (SP) 2, designed as an advanced enterprise-class management platform for SharePoint governance. The latest release from AvePoint is capable of supporting SharePoint 2013 and Office 365.

DocAve 6 SP2 is capable of delivering migration support for the latest online or on-premises SharePoint release from a number of resources, including older SharePoint versions, file shares, EMC (News - Alert) Documentum, Lotus Notes, and Open Text.

Additionally, DocAve 6 SP2 effectively builds on SharePoint’s native capabilities via support for application development, compliance and records management, and geo-distributed collaboration – and also by delivering scalable storage.

DocAve 6 SP2 will also support advanced SharePoint capabilities, which include business intelligence, eDiscovery, mobile device support and social computing.
