LexisNexis Acquires EDIWatch



LexisNexis (News - Alert) Risk Solutions, a company that provides essential information that helps customers across all industries and government predict, assess and manages risk, recently announced that it has acquired EDIWatch, Inc., a privately-held provider of fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) technology solutions exclusively for the healthcare payer industry.

For more than a decade, EDIWatch has delivered products and services that support every aspect of FWA prevention, detection and recovery. The company offers SIU Desktop solution that is a fully integrated suite of products that target suspicious behavior across all healthcare claim types, including medical, facility, pharmaceutical and dental.

Meanwhile, LexisNexis Legal & Professional recently signed an agreement with ANSOR LLC to sell the company's ANSOR Proposal and ANSOR Experience software to existing and prospective LexisNexis customers. The agreement, announced at the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) annual conference, means LexisNexis will offer the ANSOR software as independent solutions to the market and also in conjunction with LexisNexis InterAction, a leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application for legal and professional services firms.
