CSC Launches New Version of RISKMASTER Software System

CSC (News - Alert) has recently announced the release of its next-generation RISKMASTER, a comprehensive software system that helps claims and risk managers more efficiently and cost effectively administer all aspects of liability and workers compensation incidents and claims.

A browser-based software that consolidates multiple business functions, CSC’s RISKMASTER offers complete liability and workers compensation claims management, from first notice of loss to final disposition, along with a flexible risk management information system.

The new version has features that will provide self-insured companies, corporate and carrier claims departments, insurance pools and third-party administrators with broader capabilities in analytics and policy management. The tool kit will now have standard CSC-designed templates that can be customized to manage data imports and exports, such as enterprise-class data integration. The updated version also comes with enhanced user interface and better integration with Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook and other associated applications.

“RISKMASTER helps us effectively self-administer our workers’ compensation program, including general liability, auto liability and hospital incident reporting,” said Patrick Venditti, director of Corporate Health Services for BJC HealthCare, St. Louis, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health care organizations with 27,000 employees. “We’re eager to learn more about the new features, particularly the enhancements to RISKMASTER Data Analytics. Our business is so dynamic that the ability to quickly analyze meaningful risk data is key to our success with safety improvements and return-to-work programs.”

“CSC’s RISKMASTER has supported many North American organizations through every major wave of technology change affecting the liability and workers compensation claims market over the past two decades,” said Jeffery Schwalk, president of CSC’s Property and Casualty Insurance Division. “As mounting caseloads demand faster and more informed decisions, we will continue to expand RISKMASTER to help our clients respond to changing business requirements, take proactive advantage of opportunities and mitigate future losses.”
