Pegasystems' SmartBPM Solution Ranks Highest In Two Categories in Recent Forrester Report



Business process management (BPM) solutions greatly help enterprises keep pace with today’s fast changing business landscapes. Pegasystems (News - Alert) Inc. has carved a niche for its industry leading BPM solutions. In addition, the company also provides customer relationship management (CRM) solutions. In a recent press release, this leading provider of BPM and CRM solutions announced that it was named a leader in “The Forrester (News - Alert) Wave: Business Process Management Suites, Q3 2010” report.

The company further noted that its SmartBPM solution was recognized for “its comprehensive frameworks that help process professionals accelerate time-to-value for delivering solutions to critical industry challenges.”

In its report, Forrester seemed to shower praises on Pegasystems. First of all, Pegasystems was ranked number 1 by the research firm for both its strategy and current offerings.

Furthermore, Pegasystems was chosen as one of two BPM vendors that are driving growth with their superior combination of modeling, design and development features.

According to Forrester, Pegasystems is one of the two vendors to “lead the pack with the best overall combination of modeling, design and development features for business and technical roles driving process improvement.”

Pegasystems also received high marks from the research firm for providing “dynamic workspaces for business users.”

“Looking beyond the recession, some leading organizations are adopting BPM suites as model-driven development environments that can quickly respond and adapt to change. These firms view BPM -- and model-driven development -- as a 'hedge' or 'insurance policy' against a constantly shifting business landscape. Pegasystems delivers a flexible environment that quickly adapts to changing business conditions. It has a large and impressive portfolio of customers that swear by the platform because of its ability to easily change process and business rules without requiring code changes or redeployments,” the research analysts stated in the report.

It should be noted that Pegasystems was one of 11 BPM vendors evaluated against 148 criteria that reflect the requirements of large-scale implementations. The Forrester report was aimed at assessing the current state of the market and reviewing top BPM vendors’ respective positions on the basis of their ability to meet the needs of customers. Customer reference calls, hands-on lab evaluations and vendor surveys were conducted by Forrester in researching the report.
